Whether you're looking to showcase your business logo on a set of tumblers or add a personal touch to a flask as an engraved gift, these FAQs will walk you through some common question to ensure your design is engraved to perfection.
Tumbler laser engraving is a precise process of etching designs onto the surface of a tumbler by removing the top layer of paint, revealing the sleek, aluminum material beneath. When you supply a black and white image, such as a logo, the black part of the image will be engraved away, creating a negative as it reveals the aluminum below.
PDF format is preferred due to its ability to retain quality across different platforms, but we also can use EPS and SVGs. Ensure your files meet our size and resolution requirements for the best results (usually 3" wide on most tumblers), and that all fonts are outlined.
Submit your design as a sharp, high-resolution (300 dpi at least). Vector format is the best format. Please make sure they are in a solid black and white format with no greyscale. Halftone patterns can be utilized to achieve gradients.
Design Considerations: For laser engraving, contrast is key. High-contrast, black and white images yield the crispest engravings.
The standard turnaround time for our engraving process is dependent on the order volume and complexity of the design. Ingle tumbler orders can be done in 24 hours or same day if ordered before 11am. Rush orders can be accommodated for an additional fee per item.
